Brazilian jiu jitsu
What is Brazilian jiu jitsu?
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. It is an effective self-defense system, and combat sport practiced by people of all ages worldwide. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners learn respect of oneself and of others, confidence, and that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger opponent by using leverage and proper technique.

The Brazilian Top Team (BTT)
BTT was established in April of 2000 by Murillo Bustamante, to develop and create new training techniques for jiu-jitsu, submission wrestling and mixed martial arts. The Canadian chapter of BTT was founded and led by BJJ Black Belt Fabio Holanda in 2004.
With over 10 years of training in BJJ, under the careful tutelage of Fabio Holanda, Lee Villeneuve and Frederic Koomsatira have now firmly established themselves as proficient practitioners of this discipline. With the blessing of Professor Holanda, they have now established the next chapter of BTT in the West Island, and they’re looking forward to forging a world class academy at Le Club West Island.
