Quebec U19 Golden at Canadian Ringette Championships!

Congratulations to the AAA Ringuette team who trained hard all winter and represented our province at the Canada Ringuette Championships on April 2nd in Cambridge, Ontario.  Le Club West Island is a proud sponsor of this championship squad.

Quebec overpowered Ontario 5-4 to take gold in the U19 final. Laval’s Julia Commisso posted a pair for Quebec and Chambly’s Elizabeth Audette Bourdeau faced 47 shots between the pipes. Samantha Nosal (St. Clements) had a hand in all four Ontario goals, scoring two and assisting on Josie Scott’s (Mitchell) two goals. Josie Scott and Julia Commisso picked up individual achievement awards in the game, while Elizabeth Audette Bourdeau picked up the defensive game star award.

Proud Supporters of Beaconsfield Rugby

Le Club West Island was the title sponsor for the Beaconsfield Rugby and Football Club last year  We’re very proud to be supporting the BRFC for another season and we’re committed to working together to grow the sport and help our young players become better athletes.

The 2010 season was an amazing success thanks in large part to the enthusiasm of the young players, awesome family support, and the dedicated contribution of the volunteer coordinators and coaches. The BRFC is very excited about the upcoming 2011 season and the coaches are looking forward to the spring.  Registration will occur in March this year, and as usual, they are looking to grow the sport so all new players are very welcome.
