Darlene Climbs the Jacob’s Ladder

Our Assistant Fitness Director, Darlene Phair, “test-drives” the Jacob’s Ladder. It meets her approval for a challenging cardiovascular workout! This new cardio unit will arrive at Le Club West Island in mid-December.  We can’t wait for our members to try it!

Special Saturday POWER HOUR: April 9th @ 7:30 pm

POWER HOUR is our most motivating hour of the week. Resident House DJ Phil Skeeze will be keeping the ENERGY high for those final reps. For this Special SATURDAY edition, we’ll also be featuring a 25-minute set by Reggae-House DJ’s Slapchop 5.  Bring your workout gear, running shoes, and a lock.  R.S.V.P. on our Facebook fan page.  Invite your friends!

Spartan Race: are you tough enough?

 

A few of the Le Club West Island trainers and some of your fellow members are starting their training to compete at the Spartan Race on May 29th, 2011 at Mont-Tremblant!

Race like a Spartan!
5 kilometers of mud, hurdles, fire, and much more to conquer….what could be more satisfying?!  You can join as an individual or form a team of 4! Teams are a great way to help you stay motivated with your training.

We will be hosting a series of “Spartan Workouts” for those teams that wish to take their trainings up to that next level.  Stay tuned on Le Club’s Facebook page for more details!

POWER HOUR is our most motivating hour of the week.  We’re a group of strength training fanatics at Le Club who enjoy training to LOUD music.  A guest DJ selects the playlist every Wednesday & Thursday nights, keeping the ENERGY high for those final reps.  Bring your workout gear, running shoes, and a lock.  Check out what members are saying on Facebook.
